2 Weeks in England and Ireland: Trip Itinerary

England and Ireland are two destinations that are easy to fall in love with, and it is so easy to fit both into one trip across the pond! My husband and I loved our two week (13 day) trip, and I’m excited to share our itinerary with you. We spent our days exploring royal palaces in London, attending services in beautiful churches in multiple cities, and adventuring through the beautiful streets of Bath. We relaxed in the countryside, boated down the Avon River, and hiked the beautiful hills of Ireland. Our trip was perfect for us, and I hope you enjoy reading about our experiences. If you would prefer to…

    4 Perfect Days in Ireland

Planning a trip to Ireland? I hope so, because it is one of my favorite travel destinations to date! My husband and I visited Ireland as part of a two week trip (we also spent time in England), and we absolutely loved it. I’m excited to share how we decided to spend our 4 perfect days in Ireland. (Note: We were technically in Ireland for 6 days, but I’m focusing on our non-full-travel days in this post.) I’ll mention the obvious: we did not see everything in Ireland. Not even close! When we planned our trip, we decided to take it somewhat slow. We didn’t want to spend each night…

    36 Hours in Dublin

Are you considering a trip to Ireland? If so, I am so happy for you! My husband and I spent several days in Ireland as part of a two week trip to Ireland and England, and I absolutely fell in love with it. It was everything I dreamed of- and more! If you are planning to visit Ireland, you are probably planning on spending some time in Dublin. We personally wanted to spend as much time in the countryside as possible (specifically Killarney), but we did visit Dublin for a couple days near the end of our trip before taking the Stena Line back to England (where we finished our…

15 Photos to Inspire You to Visit the Gap of Dunloe

The Gap of Dunloe in Ireland is hands down the most beautiful, magical place I have ever visited. My husband and I visited as part of our two week trip to England and Ireland, and we both agree that it was our favorite destination (and it hasn’t been beat since!). The Gap of Dunloe is a narrow mountain passageway in the County Kerry, Ireland. The road through the Gap is about 7 miles long, which stretches between the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks to the west and the Purple Mountain to the east. The River Loe connects five beautiful lakes in the area- and they are truly breathtaking! You can visit the Gap…

How to Spend 36 Hours in Killarney, Ireland

Dreaming of the perfect Irish town? I highly recommend spending time in Killarney, Ireland. My husband and I spent 36 hours in Killarney as part of our two week trip to Ireland and England. It was perfect, and we wish we had allowed for more time there. We did not want to leave, and we have dreamed about going back ever since! Killarney is home to the stunning Gap of Dunloe, Torc Waterfall, Muckross House, Ross Castle, and more. It is a great stop along the Ring of Kerry and is just a short drive away from the Dingle Peninsula loop. I cannot recommend this town and its surrounding area…
